Services

Coastal Imaging & Vascular Associates specializes in the following services:

3D Mammograms

3D mammography converts digital breast images into a stack of very thin layers or “slices”—building what is essentially a 3-dimensional mammogram. This allows radiologists to look at your breast tissue in far greater detail than a traditional mammogram.

General Ultrasound

Ultrasound imaging is a noninvasive medical test that helps physicians diagnose and treat medical conditions. Ultrasound is safe and painless, and produces pictures of the inside of the body using sound waves.

Vascular Ultrasound

Vascular ultrasound provides pictures of the body's veins and arteries to look for any kind of functional or organic circulation disorders.

Venous Insufficiency Treatments

Venous insufficiency is a condition in which the veins have problems sending blood from the legs back to the heart. Coastal Radiology can perform procedures such as Sclerotherapy in which salt water (saline) or a chemical solution is injected into the vein. The vein hardens and then disappears.
